How to put images on your device
I can’t too much detail here as everyones devices are set up differently, but here are a few basic tips.
iPhone or iPod Touch
My preferred way to do this on my iPhone is as follows:
- Create a folder named ‘iPhone Sync’ or something equally memorable
- Create categorised folders inside this folder and organise all pictures into them
- Place (copies of) any other pictures you wish to put on your iPod into folders inside the ‘iPhone Sync’ folder
- Use iTunes to synchronise the ‘iPhone Sync’ folder with the device, selecting all photos
Pictures can also be synced with iPhoto.
Other devices
Sorry I can’t really help with other devices as there are so many! But it is still wise to keep all iPhone backgrounds organised into categorised folders inside a main ‘parent’ folder, then upload this to your device. Your device may come with sync software which will allow you to do this. If your device uses a memory card, you can easily connect the card to the computer, upload the folder of backgrounds and return the card to your device. There are many options.
Where are the images from?
All pictures in my iPhone Backgrounds collection are collected from the internet apart from those derived from my own. My own pictures are put into an album with my name on it, so it’s obvious that they’re my own work!
